DESIGNED TO MAKE AN INPACT! More than 50,000 students, teachers, and parents participate in Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum's Education Program and events each year; 4,000 students - including EVERY 5th grader within Charleston County School district since January 2010.

TOUCH IT. SHARE IT. LEARN IT! Marine Biology Lab, operated and staffed by Explorer Cruises Marine Science Project, with aquariums fully-stocked with local specimens that can be safely examined on the touch tank tables; our special hands free stream table that demonstrates the water cycle from the Upstate to South Carolina's Coast..... and coming soon, ............. new creatures.....

ELIMINATING BOUDARIES Videoconferencing Unit allows tow-way, real time conversations with other users anywhere else the technology is available; a powerful tool for pre visit conferences or classes with our Biologist.

WATCH FROM ANYWHERE 3 High Definition Cameras located in each of the two Education Center Classrooms and one strategically placed on the Bridge of the USS Yorktown, allowing a 360 degree view of Charleston Harbor, Fort Sumter and surrounding areas; all cameras can be accessed remotely via web browser.
